Pima Unified School District

At the August Regular Governing Board Meeting a Pima Student presented the school district with  illustrated book on the value of inclusion.  Inspired by Down syndrome advocate and viral sensation Sofia Sanchez, You are Enough is a beautiful and inclusive picture book about celebrating differences and loving yourself just the way you are. Copies of the book will be available in the school library and special education classrooms to support Pima's efforts to ensure all students are seen and see themselves as important members of our community.  The board expressed its gratitude to the student and his family for their generous contribution.
