The Pima High School Booster Club Athletic Awards Night was held on the evening of May 10th. Each of the PHS coaches took a little time to reflect on their seasons and honor Athletes. The Booster Club organized the event and provided a fantastic Barbecue dinner with all the trimmings.
A Big THANK YOU to our Booster Club and all the Sponsors for all they do for our Kids.

PIMA HIGH SCHOOL FINALS WEEK SCHEDULE
Please come by Wednesday, May 10 to check out all of the hard work our fourth graders have put into our annual wax museum! Open to the public 1:00 - 2:30 pm in the New Gym.
PJHS - Last Thursday 8th grade students were given information on high school registration. They should've brought home a form for guardians to sign. If you have not seen the form, please ask your student for this, or if your student was absent or lost their form, you may pick a new one up at the office. This form needs to be completed and returned asap. They will not be able to register without having it signed, and registration is scheduled for the end of the week in each student's science class. If you have any questions, please reach out to (928)387-8113.
Registration now open for PES Summer Programs! Check your child's backpack for sign-up forms or stop by the office.
PIMA HIGH SCHOOL IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS FOR THE 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR:
Algebra Teacher
Graphic Design Teacher
Special Education Teacher
Please visit with your PHS student about their Prom plans. Be sure to let them know that we will be using a breathalyzer at the entrance and students must blow a zero to gain entry to the Prom. Anyone with a positive reading or who appears to be under the influence of an illegal substance will not be allowed admission to the prom and will be referred to law enforcement. In addition, regular school discipline measures will be enforced as per the 2023 PHS Handbook. An alcohol violation results in 50 discipline points and a minimum of 5 days of out of school suspension.
Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe.
PES Site Council Meeting
8th Grade Promotion is coming up soon! As part of that promotion, we often give students "swag bags" of stuff to help commemorate the occasion, and we need some help purchasing items. Did you know that you can help out AND get a tax break? You can make a tax credit donation and get 100% of the amount donated taken off of state taxes or added to your refund. You can do this NOW and have it count for last year's taxes. You have until April 15 to come in, and after April 15 it will go on next year's taxes. It's a great way to help the school.
As the weather warms up, please make sure your child is properly dressed for school. Please refer to our handbook, pgs. 5 & 7, for more information on the PES Dress Code.
