To receive text messages, parents need to OPT IN by sending “Y” or “Yes” to 79041.
To opt-out text “Stop” to 79041 or reply with “Stop”.
Please make sure your contact phone and email are updated with the school offices. You can also activate your PowerSchool Parent Portal account through the office to receive documents, such as report cards, transcripts, etc.

Due to technical issues Pima Schools is only able to run four bus routes. We expect to have the issue resolved by the end of next week (8/19). Students who normally ride the Blue Bus will leave about a half hour late in the afternoon. Thank you for your patience.

Hi y'all! I'm Mrs. Gibson, and I'm a new teacher for Pima Elementary Schools, so I'd like to introduce myself.
I grew up in Arizona, but I have been away for some time-way too long. We moved to Pima last year because we love the Gila Valley. I have been working in schools for over ten years, and I am excited to teach science to the fifth graders this year.
I love spending time with my family-my husband, daughters and my little dog Mella. My interests include reading, volleyball, eating delicious food, shopping, and of course-science. GO ROUGHRIDERS!
Hey everyone! My name is Kelley Nelson and I am so excited to be returning to Pima Elementary as your 5th grade Math teacher! After 5 years in another district it’s good to be home! I have a bachelor’s from NAU and I am also a Master IEP Coach. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 22 years and have 3 amazing sons and a future daughter in law that we love! In my spare time you can find me in the cockpit of an airplane or hauling my horses down the road to a barrel race. I can’t wait for school to start, it’s going to be a great year!
